Le Premier School of Ballet was founded in 2009 to deliver the best classical ballet education for students of various ages. At our ballet school, we nurture the graceful art of dance in students of all ages. Whether your child is just starting or you're a young adult seeking to refine your skills, we support you every step of the way. Ms. Jady Sit

Founder & Principal

Ms. Sit began her classical ballet training at the age of ten. 1993 she received the prestigious Royal Academy of Dancing Solo Seal Award. The following year, she graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a major in ballet.

During her studies, Ms. Sit was invited to perform as a guest artist with the Hong Kong Ballet Group and the Hong Kong Dance Company. She continued her ballet training at the Vancouver Goh Ballet Academy.

In 1995, Ms. Sit relocated to Toronto, expanding her dance repertoire to include modern dance. She graduated from the School of Toronto Dance Theatre in 1998 and subsequently furthered her modern dance training at the Limón Dance Institute in New York.

Ms. Sit has extensive experience in dance, having worked in Hong Kong and New York. She is a Registered Ballet Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and has been teaching ballet in Toronto since 2002.

Miss Joanne Tay

Ballet Teacher

Joanne received her ballet training in Singapore, achieving straight distinctions in all her Royal Academy of Dance Graded Examinations. She also completed her Advanced Vocational Examinations in Classical Ballet.

With a passion for dance education, Joanne began teaching children's ballet in Singapore in 2009 before joining Le Premier School of Ballet. She is deeply committed to providing holistic dance education to young dancers, nurturing their confidence in movement and expression. Joanne is also a Registered Ballet Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance.

Ms. Frances

Contemporary & Jazz Teacher

Frances Cheng holds a degree from Toronto Metropolitan University's Dance Program and is an experienced dance teacher and choreographer. She specializes in contemporary, jazz, ballet, and lyrical dance. With over 15 years of experience, Frances has choreographed for televised events and performed as a background dancer in various concerts. She focuses on teaching proper foundational techniques to help students develop their skills and passion for movement
